Web Development and Software Services

25+ years of building software that runs in production - websites, systems, CRMs and security work. Not an agency with layers of management: one senior developer who writes the code, understands the business side and is measured by results.

Websites and WordPress

Fast, secure websites built for search, from a single landing page to a complex portal. Written in code, not assembled from a page builder.

  • Website development - business websites, sales pages and online stores. A 5-10 page business website: $2,200-5,600; a WooCommerce store: $3,300-8,300.
  • Landing page development - one campaign, one message, measured: between $330 and $970.
  • WordPress expert - custom themes and plugins, WooCommerce, headless WordPress and performance work.
  • WordPress repair - white screens, broken updates and plugin conflicts, from $80.
  • WordPress security - hardening $220-420, hack recovery $420-970.
  • Website upgrade - PHP 8, speed, security and a design refresh without a rebuild; infrastructure upgrade $690-1,700.
  • Website maintenance - updates on staging, backups, scans and a monthly report, $100-170/month.
  • Freelance web developer - when one senior developer is the better hire than an agency, and what a website really costs.

AI systems and automation

AI that does real work: automation, data and language processing, built into the tools your team already uses. Claude, GPT and Gemini, with your data staying under your control.

  • AI developer - search over your own documents (RAG) from $2,200, chatbots on company data, agents that use your tools.
  • AI consulting - where AI actually pays off in your business; an initial assessment with written recommendations is $690.
  • AI implementation - a controlled pilot on one process ($2,600-5,000) before any company-wide roll-out.
  • Business automation - forms, leads, CRM and bookkeeping connected so nobody copies data by hand; a single workflow is $330-970.

Custom software, CRM and apps

When the business logic is complex, the system is built around it - not the other way round. The back end runs on Laravel or Node.js, the front end on React.

  • PHP developer - PHP 8 systems, APIs, integrations and refactoring of code other people left behind.
  • Laravel developer - admin systems, SaaS back ends and APIs that are easy to extend for years.
  • Custom CRM - built around your sales process, or connected to HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive: lead routing, follow-ups and a live sales dashboard.
  • App development - iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows. A first version (MVP) for iPhone, or iPhone and Android together: $11,000-25,000.

Security

Penetration tests, code reviews and hardening - before attackers find the gap.

  • Penetration tests for websites and APIs (black, grey or white box); a WordPress test is $330-690.
  • Security code review against the OWASP Top 10: SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, SSRF.
  • Hardening of Linux servers and cloud accounts, incident response and breach investigation.
  • Security training for development teams.

Fractional CTO for startups and growing businesses

Senior technical leadership without a full-time senior hire - from the first idea to the first version in production. Details on the fractional CTO page.

  • Architecture and tech stack, cloud providers and vendors.
  • Hiring and leading developers, sprints and the product roadmap.
  • An MVP built to test the market, with scalability planned from day one.
  • Technical due diligence for fundraising, and a clean handover to your in-house team.

Growth: SEO, conversions and Russian-language advertising

  • SEO services - technical SEO, service pages and local search, without "first place guaranteed" promises; a full audit with a work plan is $420-970.
  • Conversion optimization - more sales from the traffic you already pay for; a full conversion audit is $420-970.
  • Russian-language advertising - campaigns and landing pages for brands that want to reach Russian speakers anywhere in the world; a Russian landing page with copy is $330-970.

From idea to a working product

This is what technical guidance looks like for a startup that works with me from day one:

1
Shaping the idea

The business idea turned into technical requirements: what gets built, what does not, and why. Technical success metrics defined upfront.

2
Architecture and stack

Languages, frameworks, database and cloud chosen for the product - an architecture that still holds when usage grows a hundredfold.

3
Building the MVP

6-12 weeks to a first version in production, focused on the core value and nothing else.

4
Iteration and scale

Learning from the first users, fixing, adding - and building the infrastructure for growth with real traffic.

Languages and frameworks I work with

I don't lock a client into one technology. The right tool for the problem:

  • PHP 8 - WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel, APIs.
  • Python - AI, LLMs, automation, FastAPI.
  • JavaScript and TypeScript - React, Next.js, Node.js, React Native.
  • Swift and Kotlin - native iOS, Mac and Android apps.
  • SQL - MySQL and PostgreSQL schemas and query tuning.
  • DevOps - Docker, AWS, CI/CD, caching and monitoring.

Working with a developer based in Israel

Israel is on UTC+2 (UTC+3 in summer). My working day, Sunday to Thursday 09:00-18:00, is 07:00-16:00 in London, 08:00-17:00 in Berlin and 02:00-11:00 in New York - a full day of overlap with Europe and the UK, and the first two hours of the New York morning. Messages sent on Friday or Saturday are answered on Sunday. Calls and documents are in English (Russian works too), with a written update every week.

The rule I work by

The code, the hosting accounts and the data are registered to you from day one. No vendor lock-in and no dependence on me - if we stop working together, you keep everything and someone else can pick it up.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with small businesses or only with startups?

With both. Small businesses that need a professional website, mid-size companies that need a custom system, and startups that need a part-time CTO. The size doesn't decide - the need does.

How long does a website or a system take?

A landing page takes one to two weeks, a full business website three to four weeks, a custom CRM two to three months and a startup MVP six to twelve weeks. Every project gets a detailed timeline before work starts.

Can I start with a limited budget?

Yes. The MVP approach builds the core that creates value first and adds features in stages, so you launch fast, validate with real users and only invest in what works.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Monthly maintenance plans cover security updates, small changes and support; a basic plan for a business website is $100-170/month. Most clients stay on after launch.

Do you work with clients in the US, UK and Europe?

Yes, remotely. Israel is two hours ahead of the UK and one hour ahead of Central Europe, so a full working day overlaps with Europe; with the US East Coast the overlap is the first two hours of your morning, 09:00-11:00 Eastern. Quotes are in US dollars and everything is written in English.

Which programming language will you build my project in?

The one that fits the project, not the one that's convenient for me. A content site is usually WordPress, a complex system Node.js or Laravel with React, an AI pipeline Python. You get the reasoning in writing before anything is built.
